You hit it on the dot Ken. I also agree that social would not be part of the aggregate search ranking signal. I believe it would only personalize each user's search results when they are logged in. I do predict High PR Blog Networks and buying aged domains for PR to lose it's value. I'm reading reports that popular blog networks are shutting down because Google is deindexing a large number of their inventory. I also read more and more people receiving the unnatural links notification sent by Google Webmaster tools. Makes white hat SEO based on content all the more important.
